Non-destructive opening

Lock Assist offer non-destructive opening methods where possible.  This means if you are locked out of your home or office, we do try to pick open the lock first. If it is drilled open, the lock is destroyed and will need replacing. However, the more secure a lock is, the more difficult it is to open without the keys.  Picking the lock open, particularly if the keys are inside, avoids the cost and inconvenience of having to have it replaced and extra keys cut.  This method of opening does not damage it or prevent it from operating with the keys.
